Road Closure

Burton families,
We want to inform you about a road closure that is now in effect on Westfield Avenue, from Westwood Street to Lombardi Street, due to construction by the City of Porterville. This project includes underground utility work as well as concrete and road pavement improvements. Because the work will take place in multiple phases, this section of road will remain closed until September 2025.
Please note that this closure will affect traffic to and from our Lombardi campus and may also impact travel to Burton Middle School and the Buckley campus.
We know this is an inconvenience, and we apologize for any disruption this may cause. The developer and contractor have assured us they are working to complete the project as quickly as possible.
For your reference, we have attached a traffic detour plan to help you plan your route during this time. Please plan accordingly, give yourself extra time, and drive safely.
